Description
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for partnerships with key business leaders to develop and implement Human Resource and leadership programs that focus on talent. This includes identifying and fulfilling talent needs, integration, development, and assessing and shaping business decisions that deliver the business results, and meet the overall objectives of the Enterprise.
- Works closely with business leaders to lead work in a variety of areas including talent pipeline, assessment, integration, succession planning, performance management, and organization design and development; be a strategic partner in supporting business transformation; and steward of the employee experience, in service of supporting the company's strategy.
- Assists leaders in aligning behaviors with the core philosophies and company values. Works towards increasing team effectiveness and efficiency and enable the development and progression of employees across the organization. Results will be measured on increased engagement, productivity and improved business results.
- Being an effective change agent and knowledgeable business partner who can influence business decisions, while representing the talent system. Support enterprise transformation and change initiatives and enable local implementation of needed behavior, culture or organizational changes.
- Partners with the business in the deployment of our HR programs; partners with the Centers of Expertise (COE) to learn and share opportunities for enhancement of HR programs, policies, trends and networks in service of the employee experience; contributing to the business results.
May provide leadership and work direction for a team.
Reports to a Director, Human Resources within the Corporate Generalist team
Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5 or more years of experience in a combination of the following: human resource, employee relations, and talent management (talent pipeline, on-boarding, assessment, integration, succession planning, performance management, and organization design and development)
- Proven experience building and sustaining relationships with Sr. leadership (VP, SVP, EVP)
- Demonstrated conflict resolution and influence without authority; specifically surrounding the following:
- Driving resolution among parties with varying interests, including development of strategies and models
- Effectively influenced business and/or talent decisions with a broad range of internal clients
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher
- Previous supervisory experience
- PHR / SPHR certification
- Retail and/or Corporate experience
